
THRIVE Farmer Training Program

The THRIVE Network Farmer training Program is a 12-week program consisting of classroom learning and hands on farming training in an urban garden in Tallahassee’s historic Frenchtown neighborhood. Participants will learn about the benefits of sourcing their own food, farming best practices, training to potentially operate their own farms and urban farm spaces, and receive handouts and growing kits to supplement learning and create their own personalized home garden.
Participants are also eligible to receive business support and training from Capital City Chamber of Commerce business consultant to assist in building their own food production business.
